ICE WIRELESS ANNOUNCES NEW PRESIDENT

Veteran Network Builder Samer Bishay is appointed President & CEO of Ice Wireless

YELLOWKNIFE, NT, May 14, 2012 – Ice Wireless Inc. announced today the appointment of Samer Bishay as its President and CEO. Mr. Bishay replaces Tom Zubko, who founded and led the company since its beginnings in 1999.

Mr. Bishay is best known for his tenure as President and CEO of Iristel Inc. As Iristel’s founder, Mr. Bishay led Iristel from a small start-up to an international telecommunications service provider with domestic infrastructure licenses on three continents. Iristel is a major shareholder of Ice Wireless and Mr. Bishay will continue in his current role with Iristel.

Established in 1999, Iristel Inc. was granted a carrier license by the Canadian Radio-Television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) in 2000 and is today one of Canada’s largest VoIP service providers with a coast-to-coast network. Iristel offers a complete portfolio of IP services in Canada, including hosted IP PBX, virtual faxing, virtual roaming, and global IP trunking products and services. Iristel clients include large ILECs and Wireless Service Providers across Canada.

Mr. Bishay has won numerous awards and accolades. Most notably, he was the recipient of Profit Magazine’s Young Entrepreneur Award as the youngest CEO among the Top 50 Profit companies in Canada in 2004.

Prior to founding Iristel, Mr. Bishay was a lead Systems Engineer in the Radarsat program at the Canadian Space Agency. He brought about optimization techniques which further improved performance and significantly increased revenues for the Space Agency’s satellite mapping initiative.
